OUT OF ORDER V1.2 notes & Episode 2 news


Hello again folks, another small update to show that I am still working on this game.

Development on Episode 2 has been slow, but I had Friday off so I managed to get an extra few hours of work in. My hope is to have all the new mechanics planned for Episode 2 implemented by the end of September, but development might be halted for October due to another project I would like to complete in time for Halloween (you'll hear about it soon enough). But the level, enemies, dialogue and "plot" of Episode 2 has already been planned out so it'll just be a matter of sitting down and making the damn thing.

In the meantime however, here's the latest patch notes for version 1.2:

Features

  • Added the ability to use fists as melee weapon, assigned to weapon slot 1
  • Added a Rocket Launcher, assigned to weapon slot 5
  • Added hit and death animations to enemies
  • Added more enemies

Fixes

  • Plugged hole in floor
