Fun quick game overall, I have some general feedback:
-Good atmosphere, very cool seeing the kaiju in the distance!
-Moving and shooting feels good
-Retaining a bullet in the chamber and ui changing colors to indicate the ammo is full are nice touches!
-Cool scripted moments!
-Lighting felt a little unnatural/uneven in places
-Performance was good
-Fun ending!
Thanks for playing, and all the feedback!
Yeah the lighting definitely isn't as polished as it could be. I thinks it's a result from a mix of rushing level design, trying to avoid performance issues, and simply not being familiar with lighting in Godot.
I'm happy to see you liked so many of the other aspects of the game though, hopefully next time I play around with lighting it'll be more polished!
Yeah I totally get ya, I have no idea how lighting works in Godot so unfortunately I couldn't give some more constructive feedback there haha
The game had a lot of good polish overall!
pretty cool game
Good because I was aiming for pretty cool, thanks for playing!
