The first in a long series of updates is now here! After getting some good feedback from last weeks build, I implemented a number of quality of life features and fixed several bugs.
New Features
- Hints added to guide player through controls and interaction
- Added options for cursor visibility
- Items can now be assigned to hotkey via drag & drop
- Items can now be combined via drag & drop
- Held objects can now be rotated by holding 'R' and moving the mouse
- Smartphone now remembers the last app used before closing
- Number of notifications displayed on app icons
Fixes
- Closing inventory while moving item no longer breaks inventory interaction
- Cursor no longer unlocks when closing pause menu while other interface (phone, note, computer) open
- Can no longer open phone while reading note or using computer
- Improved chroma key on wrench icon
- Added outline to cursor making it easier to see
- Added lock and handle to power room door to make it more obviously interactive
- Certain items are now made to be single use
- Equipped item cursor no longer appears when using phone
